Located in Memphis, Tennessee, founding partners Ted Beason and Frank Sutherland formed Beason|Sutherland Consulting in January 2001. Together they bring 40 years of strategic problem solving, planning and management experience to their clients. Their professional track record is backed by Bachelors degrees in Industrial Engineering and Accounting, and Masters degrees in Business Administration and Applied Statistics/Operations Research.

Ted Beason brings 15 years of corporate operations, management and finance experience to benefit his clients. Ted possesses specialized expertise in strategic planning and business modeling, operations analysis, network planning and design, and business process design.

Prior to founding Beason|Sutherland Consulting, Ted served as Client Director for iXL’s Memphis office working with clients in the transportation, manufacturing and healthcare industries. Ted has held Finance and Operations management positions for Overnite Transportation Company.

Mr. Beason holds a Master of Business Administration from The College of William & Mary and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech.

Frank Sutherland brings 25 years of strategic planning, system design, operations, and financial planning experience to his consulting engagements.

Prior to founding Beason|Sutherland Consulting, Frank was Sr. Vice President – Client Services with iXL Inc. Frank has held management positions with Overnite Transportation Company, FedEx and North American Van Lines. Consulting experience includes a variety of independent engagements as well as work for Arthur Andersen & Co.

Mr. Sutherland is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Applied Statistics and a Master of Science in Applied Statistics and Operations Research.
